About Phoenix

Phoenix is a graduate of the University of Florida where she received a B.A. in International Studies (Europe). Her academic concentration included Journalism, East-Central Europe, EU Politics and Hungarian.

Phoenix previously worked as an Associate Producer for CNN International's television programs.

She is a former Young Global Professional with the Atlantic Council's Europe Center in Washington, D.C. 

Phoenix has international reporting experience where she worked for New Europe in Brussels, Belgium.

She received the FLAS Fellowship from the U.S. Department of Education for her intermediate studies of the Hungarian language and is a former Benjamin A. Gilman Scholar of the U.S. Department of State.
